01About

Where hardware meets code —
at tournament speed.

I'm a 17-year-old student in the 4th grade of HTL Wiener Neustadt (Informatics — a 5-year programme ending with the Matura). My free time goes almost entirely into robotics: building, programming and tuning competition robots with my team.

My favourite kind of work is where hardware meets code — sensors, motors, cameras and real-time decisions on a full game field with a ticking clock. Competitions have taught me to stay calm, take a task and solve it fast and properly.

Right now I'm co-developing a realistic 3D robotics simulator on NVIDIA Isaac Sim with a 14-degree-of-freedom vehicle model, to replace the flat 2D simulators teams have today. More details on request.

02Services

What I can do for you. Beyond the competition field.

Also open to internships and junior roles — the same standards go into every project I ship.

IT Support & Troubleshooting

Reliable support for teams without a big IT department — from workstation setup to network problems.

  • Hardware, software, network & account setup
  • Fast, documented fixes — trained on two production-site summers at Lindt & Sprüngli

Websites & Web Apps

Fast, responsive sites and web apps — landing pages, dashboards and internal tools that load instantly.

  • Handcrafted HTML/CSS/JS or Node.js backends — no bloated templates
  • Deployed with HTTPS and your own domain

Mobile & Desktop Apps

Native-feeling apps for Android, iOS and Windows 11 — for internal use or public release.

  • Cross-platform builds from one codebase
  • Clean UI, offline-first thinking, updates without drama

Automation & Internal Tools

Scripts and small tools that remove the boring work — file handling, reports, deployments.

  • Python/C# automation wired into your existing stack
  • Docker & Git pipelines so nothing breaks between machines

Embedded & Technical Prototypes

Where hardware meets software: sensors, Raspberry Pi and cameras — for prototypes and special projects that others won't touch.

  • Computer vision on embedded devices (YOLO / ONNX)
  • Competition-grade, real-time software

Individual Request

Not on the list? Ask anyway — if it can be built, I'll build it. Send a rough description and get an honest answer back.

Botball European & World Championship season

1st place — ECER 2026 (Europe) 3rd place — GCER 2026 (World, top bracket)

With team TechSupport (HTL Wiener Neustadt) we won the European Conference on Educational Robotics, then travelled to the Global Conference on Educational Robotics in Norman, Oklahoma, where we placed 3rd in the top international bracket against roughly 47 teams from around the world.

  • Developed the game strategy for a mecanum-drive bot built to solve the hardest — and highest-scoring — challenge on the entire game table.
  • Wrote drum collecting & sorting algorithms used across both competition robots and supported both sub-teams with programming, code cleanup and debugging.
  • Co-developed the robot with my teammate Amir Elmesiry — everything from hardware setup to the software stack was built by the students themselves.
  • Trained and deployed an own vision model for autonomous drum detection on the field (see next project).

Autonomous drum detection & sorting

On the world championship I fully owned a second robot — a drum-collecting bot with a completely different design — including its AI vision system.

  • Built a custom dataset (~600–700 photos of blue and pink drums on a white surface) and trained a YOLOv8n model, exported to ONNX.
  • Programmed a DrumDetector class that starts inference on motion in the camera frames, detects drums and classifies blue vs. pink to drive the sorting mechanism.
  • My first ML project — roughly 400 ms end-to-end inference on embedded hardware, and a hands-on lesson in what “production constraints” really mean.

Custom robot software stack

Our team competes on the “Wombat” platform — a Raspberry Pi 3 at the core of a robot we set up entirely ourselves. We are currently replacing the official KIPR libraries (libwallaby) with a freshly written, in-house stack.

  • Own architecture from low-level sensor & motor access up to a clean high-level mission API for competition code.
  • Full hardware bring-up done by the students: OS setup, configuration, tooling and deployment with Git, Docker and Apptainer.

RoboRacer 3D simulator

Together with a team I'm developing a realistic 3D racing simulator for RoboRacer teams — replacing the 2D simulators available today. Our own implementation on NVIDIA Isaac Sim with a 14-degree-of-freedom vehicle model tuned with real-world data.
